I metioned this issue at http://www.hpccommunity.org/f21/how-update-base-kit-1-0-a-427/ and was told to report it here.

Updating a kit does not work via cfmsync -p as that packages file does not contain the version numbers:
[root@master cfm]# cat /opt/kusu/cfm/1.package.lst
# Generated automatically. Do not Edit!
centos-5-x86_64
component-base-installer
component-base-node
component-centos-updates_5_x86_64_r2
component-gnome-desktop
component-lava-master-v1_0

Installing a new version does not work now as cfm things it is allready installed.
